The Hart & Foxworthy Preserve represents a rare opportunity to protect approximately 44 acres of natural Florida along the Caloosahatchee River—not simply for today, but for generations to come.
We are exploring the creation of a permanent endowment structure through which an individual, family, foundation, corporation, or conservation-minded organization could help ensure the long-term protection and stewardship of this remarkable property.
An endowment could encompass the entire Hart & Foxworthy Preserve, creating the opportunity for a benefactor to establish an enduring conservation legacy associated with all 44 acres.
Alternatively, the Preserve has been divided into eight individual tracts, allowing the possibility of endowing a particular portion of the property. Each tract would remain part of the broader conservation vision for the Hart & Foxworthy Preserve while providing an opportunity for individual families, foundations, or organizations to create their own lasting connection to the land.
Endowment funds could ultimately support the long-term stewardship of the Preserve, including habitat protection and restoration, invasive-species management, ecological monitoring, maintenance, conservation initiatives, and opportunities for environmental education and research.
Our vision is simple: protect the land, protect the river, and preserve a piece of Old Florida forever.
For the right individual or organization, an endowment of the Hart & Foxworthy Preserve—or one of its eight individual tracts—could become far more than a contribution to conservation. It could become a living legacy, protecting native habitat and an extraordinary stretch of the Caloosahatchee River for generations yet to come.
We welcome conversations with individuals, families, foundations, corporations, and conservation organizations interested in exploring an endowment of the entire Preserve or one of its eight individual tracts.
